What
There is a concern over the excessive use of plastic bags in supermarkets which not only waste resources but also contribute to litter if not properly managed. There have been a number of reusable bags in the market to manage this issue, but most of them receive complaints like being too bulky.
Why
Consumers are sometimes forgetful and lazy to bring along the reusable bags. It is more convenient to grab a plastic bag from the supermarket counter.
How
With insights from consumer behavior and the use of design, we introduce the EzCarrier. EzCarrier is targeted as a ladies' carrier which is rather compact and does not require the consumer to make much effort to bring it as it can be easily kept in their handbag.
